February

27th February 2020, Thursday

On 27th of February 2020, Thursday was the first day when the instruction of school’s closure was implemented (the parents were called and apprised that, the parents should send their children on Monday, 2nd of March 2020).

March

2nd March 2020, Monday

On 2nd of March 2020, Monday the school called the parents and told them to collect the homework on 4th of March 2020, Wednesday. It was the first set of the homework given to the parents.

4th March 2020, Wednesday

On 4th of March 2020, Wednesday the parents of all classes visited the school to collect the homework, along with this circular; the school shall reopen for the pupils on 16th of March 2020, Monday. It was the first set of the homework that was collected by the parents.

13th March 2020 – 14th March 2020, Friday/Saturday

It was decided on 13 March 2020 at the National Security Council meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan that all schools and universities would remain closed until 5 April 2020.

On 13th and 14th of March 2020, (Friday and Saturday) all the parents were called to apprise about the strategies of the school for the future scenario, classes Reception and Inception were apprised to call on 16th of March 2020, Monday for further coordination, classes Nursery, Kindergarten, One, Two, Three, Four and Five were instructed to submit their homework (the first set) on 16th of March 2020, Monday.

16th March 2020, Monday

On 16th of March 2020, Monday the parents came to submit the homework and Classes Reception and Inception parents were called and they were apprised by the office bearer about the dates for the academic sessions, the given dates to Reception and Inception were 18th and 20th of March 2020, (Wednesday and Friday) respectively.
The parents from class Nursery to class 4/5 got the notification to collect the second set of homework on 19th March 2020.

18th March 2020 – 20th  March 2020, (Wednesday- Friday)

The school gave the second set of homework to the parents of Reception. 18th March 2020, Wednesday Class Reception (homework along with an academic tutorial). 19th March 2020, Thursday , Class Nursery to Class 4/5 (both levels). 20th March 2020, Friday,Class Inception, (homework along with an academic tutorial)

Timings and dates given to the parents for next visit.

  1. Reception: 2nd of April 2020, Thursday – collection of a set of homework and attending the second academic session.
  2. Inception: 6th of April 2020, Monday – collection of a set of homework and attending the second academic session .
  3. Nursery: 3rd of April 2020, Friday – kindergarten: 3rd of April 2020, for submitting the given homework.
  4. Classes One, Two, Three, Four and Five: 1st of April 2020, Wednesday, for submitting the given homework.

In the same notification (that was given on 18th, 19th and 20th of March 2020); it was mentioned that the school office shall remain closed from 23rd of March 2020, Monday till 25th of March 2020, Wednesday and shall reopen on 26th of March 2020, Thursday.

On 18th of March 2020, Wednesday, mothers of the pupils of Class Reception came to collect the homework and attend the academic session. On 19th of March 2020, Thursday Class Nursery to Class Four/Five parents collected the homework and they got a circular with the dates as to when the given homework has to be submitted back. On 20th of March 2020, Friday the mothers of Class  Inception came for the academic session.

Due to the lockdown the holidays were extended, and the school office remained closed from 23rd of March 2020 till 3rd of April 2020. All the academic sessions that had to be held were cancelled.

26th March 2020.- 27th March 2020, Thursday-Friday

LAHORE: All educational institutions across Pakistan would remain closed till May 31, as this closure would be treated as summer vacation, read the notification issued by Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training here on Friday.
The decision was made in a meeting of National Coordination Committee on the recommendations of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers held on 26 March 2020

“The parents were apprised for the changes in the schedule through a call on 26th March 2020 and 7th of April 2020, Tuesday was the new date given to the parents of all the classes for submission of homework. (Nursery to class 4/5)
Classes Reception and Inception were told to visit the school  for further information on 7th April 2020.

April

7th April 2020, Tuesday

The school collected the second set of homework from the parents and gave them a circular to collect the third set of homework on the following dates.
Reception/ Kindergarten / Class One – 14th of April 2020, Tuesday
Inception / Nursery / Class Two /Class Four and Five – 15th of April 2020, Wednesday.
Class Three – 16th of April 2020, Thursday

On 7th of April 2020, Wednesday the parents of Classes Nursery to Class Five visited the school to submit their second set of  homework and on the same date; parents received another notification for collecting the third set of homework.

Inception / Nursery / Class Two /Class Four and Five – 15th of April 2020, Wednesday

On 14 April 2020, the Prime Minister announced that the ongoing lockdown would be extended for two more weeks until 30 April 2020.

The school gave another date to the parents to visit the school for the submission of the third set of homework.
The dates are as follows.

Class Reception/Inception – 28th of April 2020, Tuesday
Nursery / Kindergarten – 22nd of April 2020, Wednesday
Class One / Two – 23rd of April 2020, Thursday
Class Three/ Four/ Five – 27th of April 2020, Monday

On the above mentioned dates, the parents of the respective classes visited the school to collect the third set of homework. The parents of each class received the circular about the date of the submission of the homework. The given dates are as follows.

On 24 April 2020, the federal government once again extended the lockdown in the country until 9 May 2020, Saturday.

The school collected the third set of homework from the parents on the above mentioned dates. On the same days, the parents of each class also collected the circular about the final term syllabus collection.
The dates are as follows;

Class Reception/ Kindergarten/ Class Two – 5th of May 2020, Tuesday
Class Nursery / One / Three – 6th of May 2020, Wednesday
Class Inception / Four/Five – 7th of May 2020, Thursday

The parents of each class submitted the homework  (third set) according to the dates mentioned above and also collected the circular about the syllabus collection.

5th May 2020 – 7th May 2020 (Tuesday- Thursday)

ISLAMABAD: On 6th May, Federal and provincial education ministers recommended extending the closure of educational institutions beyond May 31, 2020 in view of the surge in Covid-19 cases across the country.

The school gave  (on the above mentioned dates) the parents, the final term syllabus of  the academic year 2019-2020 as the school proposed to conduct the final examination of the children.
They were apprised to submit the homework when the children will return to the school in June. Further, the parents were informed about the following concerns;
The school office will remain closed from 13th of May 2020, Wednesday till 2nd of June 2020, Tuesday.
The parents have to visit the school on 4th of June 2020, Thursday to collect the S.O.P (standard operating procedure)
The parents can call the school on Mondays and Wednesdays (9:00 am to 11:00 am) in the month of May for academic coordination.
The time table for the assessments shall be provided to the pupils when they return in June.
The school shall reopen on 9th of June 2020, Tuesday for the pupils, but the parents confirm about the reopening of school from office on 8th of June 2020, Monday.

The parents of all the classes visited the school on the above mentioned dates to collect the final term syllabus of  the academic year 2019-2020.

19th May 2020, (Tuesday)

ON 19th May, the news was published that Sindh Minister for Education Saeed Ghani said schools could remain closed for up to six months due to the risk of Coronavirus spreading among children.
“We cannot take such a risk in the current circumstances. It [reopening of schools] totally depends on the pace of the epidemic. I am not in a position to say if schools will reopen [even] on July 15, 2020”

26th May 2020, (Tuesday)

KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced that all educational institutions in the province will continue to remain closed after June 1 amid the Covid-19 outbreak.

3rd June 2020, (Wednesday)

LAHORE: On 3rd June, it was published that Punjab Minister for School Education Murad Raas has clearly announced that the government will not allow private schools to open until the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.

4th June 2020, (Thursday)

The school provided the SOP (provisional, English and Urdu version) the opinion slip regarding the agreeability for the S.O.P, circular about fee concern and notification to collect the questionnaire for the assessment preparation on 11th of June 2020, Thursday.
The school also apprised the parents that the pupils will not come to the school  from 9th June 2020 instead a new reopening date shall be given on 24th June.

8th  June 2020, (Monday)

The school decided to opt for the online classes in the coming session keeping the current scenario in mind as the schools’ closure date was extended. The parents were informed about the school’s decision of the online classes till the lockdown is over by a call on the following dates.

ON 24th and 25th June 2020 Wednesday and Thursday, the parents who did not respond were called again.

11th June 2020, (Thursday)

On 11th of June 2020, Thursday – the parents came to collect the questionnaire and collected the fee voucher and a circular pertaining to fee concern as well.
The school apprised them through a notification that the new reopening date for the pupils shall be given to the parents on 24th June 2020.

12th June 2020, (Friday)

The school then decided that the final term assessment should be conducted by the parents at home and the students should be remarked this time instead of giving the marks.

24th June 2020, (Wednesday)

The school provided a desideratum (all the guidelines to conduct the examination at home) to the parents for the examination (as the school could not be opened for the pupils hence no new date was given) which included the time table as well. The first set of the assessment paper was also given. According to the timetable, the parents will have to visit on 30th June 2020 to submit the first set of the assessment papers and to collect the second set.

On 24th of June 2020, the parents came to collect the desideratum for the examination and the first set of the assessment  papers.

30th June 2020, (Tuesday)

The school  provided the second set of assessment papers to the parents and collected the set of the first assessment paper from them on 30th June 2020. A circular was also provided to the parents (as a reminder) for the next visit to be made  on 7th June 2020.  The date of the next visit was already mentioned in the desideratum provided on 24th June 2020.

On 30th of June, the parents visited the school, submitted the first set of the assessment papers and collected the second set of the assessment papers.

July

7th July 2020, (Tuesday)

On  7th July 2020, the school provided the third set of the assessment papers and collected the second set from them.
A circular was again provided as a reminder for the next visit to the school on 14th July 2020. The date of the next visit was already mentioned in the desideratum provided on 24th June 2020.

The parents visited the school on 7th July 2020, submitted the second set of the assessment and collected the third and final set from the school.

8th July 2020, (Wednesday)

ISLAMABAD – The provincial ministers of education on Wednesday agreed to reopen educational institutions in the country depending upon the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

Meeting of the Provincial education ministers was held here to discuss the current Corona pandemic situation and opening of educational institutions across the country. The meeting was presided over by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood

9th July 2020, (Thursday)

Educational institutions across the country will reopen after a nearly five-month hiatus on September 15 provided that the “health indicators improve”, Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced on Thursday on 9th July 2020.

14th July 2020, (Tuesday)

On 14th July 2020, the school collected the third set of assessment papers from the children and provided them a questionnaire to inquire about their child’s progress.
The parents were given a circular to visit on 16th July 2020 to submit the questionnaire.

The school gave the notification for the annual result days to the parents and collected the questionnaire given to the parents on 14th July 2020.

The parents came to the school on 16th  July 2020 to submit the inquisition about their child’s progress and  collected the circular for the annual result days according to their child/children’s class.

EXECUTIONS OF THE RESULT DAY.

  • The parents were given the explanation about the SOP for the online classes along with the SOP itself mentioning all the details of the online classes.
  • They were given the booklist for the next class, a document of homework, the circular for Eid holidays, a circular for a tutorial for the online session, the booklist for the next class, the circular for the increment which will be implemented from October instead of August this year.
  • The school also took the email address and Whatsapp contact numbers of the parents.

The parents of the students of classes 2 and 3 visited the school on 21st July 2020 to see the result of their child and collected all what is mentioned above as the executions of the result day.
